Rabbi Binyamin Chajes
Rabbi Binyamin Chajes has spent the last nine years learning in Chicago at one of America’s original and premier Lakewood Community Kollelim. Previously, he learned in Mesivta of Long Beach, Brisk, and the Brisker Kollel. Mrs. Chajes (nee; Hirsch) is a proud Bais Yaakov of Baltimore graduate. The Chajes family is looking forward to joining the Baltimore community and being a part of the phenomenal Torah growth in our city.
Rabbi Shaul Elchonon Sofer
Rabbi Shaul Elchonon Sofer, a native of Melbourne, Australia, has lived in Baltimore for the last 7 years. Rabbi Sofer learned in Yeshivas Shaarei Torah of Manchester, England, and then in Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim as a Bochur and Kollel member. Most recently, Rabbi Sofer held the position of shoel u’mayshiv in Yeshivas Ohr HaTorah in Baltimore. Mrs. Sofer (nee; Muller) serves as Principal of the preschool at K’hal Chassidim. The Sofers are excited to be a part of building this next Premier Makom Torah in our city.
